Tahura is a PACFA (Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia) registered counsellor with a Master of Psychotherapy and Counselling (Australia). She is also currently studying Master of Professional Psychology. Her education and training have provided her with a strong understanding of human development, behaviour, distress, and wellbeing.
Over the years, she has worked with children, young people, and adults, providing emotional support and counselling across a range of settings.
Her areas of interest include: anxiety, depression, ADHD, complex trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, life transitions, relationship challenges, grief and loss, and addictive behaviours.
Tahura’s approach is person-centred, trauma-informed, and integrative. She draws on a range of therapeutic modalities to suit each client’s unique needs, including CBT, ACT, DBT, psychodynamic, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Jungian, and somatic approaches.
Tahura has a deep appreciation for the therapeutic process and aims to provide a safe, non- judgemental, collaborative, and practical space. She is passionate about supporting clients to find meaning and clarity in their lives, while helping them deepen their self-understanding by exploring helpful and unhelpful patterns of behaviour.
